Our Mission
To free the American worker from a corporate mindset that says we do the work and they make all the money. To regain a fair balance between the cost of living and the American wage. To demand from our public servants, by any means necessary, to promote the general welfare of all Americans and ensure domestic tranquility as is the promise of the American Constitution.

Where one small voice will never be heard, together many voices can never be ignored.

The Idea
Struggling American Workers Coalition started due to this rise in fuel costs. I remember when
gas was 30 cents a gallon, you could purchase bread at 5 loaves for a dollar. A candy bar was
a nickle and a soda pop was 10 cents. Nearly everything is at least ten times as much now as it
was back then. A family could live comfortably on a single income, but those days are long
gone. Back in 1978 I went to work as a welder making about $13.50 an hour. I worked that job
for 5 years until the crash of the steel industry put me out of work. I worked in a number of
different trades until recently I got a welding job that paid me $14.00 an hour. When I saw that I
earned a 50 cent raise in income over the past 30 years all I could feel was anger. And on top of
that I either worked a minimum of 50 hours a week or I didn't have a job. The irony of that is if I
didn't work the over time I wouldn't survive. Overtime should be a luxury not a necessity. That
was when the idea of sawcoalition was born. I thought wouldn't it be great if millions of
Americans grouped together and forced the Government to take action on our behalf, instead of
feeding themselves on corporate greed. Now we are in big trouble!!! Not only are fuel costs
rising, the cost of everything else is following suit. That is, everything except what you and I
make at work. Corporations are seeing the highest profits in history, yet were giving them 700
billion dollars of our tax money. That money should go back to the American tax payer and go
into the system from the bottom up. The bottom is where the real problem lies. Who is watching
out for our right to live a quality life? "No One" This trend has not only got to stop, but it needs to
be reversed. It wont be long before this trend has our public servants changing labor laws so our
childrens children are having to work jobs so their families can pay the bills. Help transform our
country from Corporate America, back to America.
Web Site
This web site is interactive with a blog to share thoughts and ideas. Every month there is a news
letter written on the most discussed topics on the blog containing facts and possible ideas of
solutions to the problems facing us. Also for starters I have compiled email addresses of high
ranking government officials, News media shows, and corporations. Members can copy and
paste these names into an email along with a prewritten letter to all of these people demanding
change for whatever topic is of our choosing.
My Current Ideas
- A staff of members working towards the coalition missions, and to help you with any needs that you have.
- Meetings with Government officials that are backed up by American workers.
- A sawcoalition office in every state so that we can comunicate with all levels of Government.
- A Non Profit Foundation based on giving back to the American worker. Any member will have access to these funds. My goal is to see if those fortunate people that you and I have helped get wealthy by purchacing their records, supporting their sports games, watching or purchasing their movies, purchasing their pay per views, watching their television shows, or any other activity that has made them extreamly wealthy, to give back the American workers that are struggling to get by.
In Progress
Struggling American Workers Foundation is currently being designed:
- A Non Profit Members Health Insurance Compensation Foundation designed to compensate for the poor coverage of medical insurance you get from work.
- A Non Profit Give back to the American Worker Foundation that will give all members a refund based on a split of the total money in that account every three months.
- A Non Profit College Foundation that will help those members with college expenses, tuition, books and supplies. This includes those parents who are paying for their childrens education.
- A Non Profit Mortgage Foundation to help members in jeapardy of loosing their homes.
- A suggestion board so ideas are better recognized.
All of these Non Profit Foundations, will be funded totaly on outside donations designed for
the more fortunate to give back to the American Worker. All funds collected from membership
fees that exceed Coalition costs will be transfered to the Foundation. Foundation amounts
granted will be based on the current funds available. I know what has been lacking at every
place of employment that I have ever worked at, but if you have other programs that would help
you can blog your ideas on how to save members a few more dollars, no idea is impossible.
Membership Fees
Member fees are to cover the costs of the Coalition. Their are no fees for the first month so read
the first news letter and blog your thoughts and ideas. Fees will be $5.00 a month and you can
unsubscribe at any time.
